During the election, both AAP and BJP faced accusations of malpractice, including cash distribution and fraudulent voting. The two parties are in a fierce battle to decide who will govern Delhi. In the 2020 elections, AAP won 62 out of 70 seats, BJP secured 8 seats, and Congress did not win any seats.
Exit Polls Predict BJP Victory
Most exit polls suggest that the BJP could take the lead over the ruling AAP, while Congress is expected to suffer another major defeat.
- Matrize Exit Poll: The BJP-led NDA might secure between 35-40 seats, while AAP could win 32-37 seats. Congress is expected to win 0-1 seats.
- People’s Pulse Exit Poll: The NDA is predicted to win between 51-60 seats, with AAP possibly securing only 10-19 seats. Congress is expected to get no seats.
- People’s Insight Exit Poll: This poll forecasts 40-44 seats for the NDA, 25-29 seats for AAP, and 0-1 seats for Congress.
