And the former Australian cricket team captain, Ashleigh Gardner, too brought cheers to her team by achieving what no other female cricketer had thought before; she has scored a century by batting at the No. 6 position Women’s One Day Internationals (WODIs).
The experienced all-rounder achieved this great feat during the third WODI against England played at Bellerive Oval, Hobart.
The match-winning performance came from Gardner, whose 102-run innings helped Australia thrash England for the first time in any format, as she scored her maiden century.
