Actor Adivi Sesh recently announced a piece of major news on his birthday, and that is, the female lead of his next movie Dacoit is none other than the gorgeous and talented Mrunal Thakur. The movie will be directed by Shaneil Deo.
Dancing and winning hearts with his recently released web series, Majestic actor Adivi Sesh is on cloud nine today as he announced that Mrunal Thakur is going to be the heroine for his upcoming most anticipated pan Indian action drama ‘Dacoit’. Shooting begins in the fall from debutant Shaneil Deo with an exciting plot that has synthesized love, betrayal and revenge.
Dacoit essays the theme of a man hunting for his ex-girlfriend and planning to kill her which leads to a possible love turned hostile climax. Directed by Supriya Yarlagadda and co produced by Suniel Narang this project is being shot in Hindi as well as Telugu concurrently. The film’s cinematography was co-written by its lead actor Adivi Sesh along with Shaneil Deo who felt it was good strong action movie with a great romantic angle.
Mrunal Thakur said she accepted the offer to be part of the project as the story of Dacoit looks authentic with a terrific mix of raw and brilliant narration by Adivi Sesh and Shaneil Deo. I think that the character that I will be performing in the film is more vivacious in certain aspects than what I have done earlier. Such idea of genre and script set Dacoit apart from many other films for the viewers. I’m looking forward to entering the world created by Shaneil as if into a different reality.”
Shaneil Deo, the director of the film also added that Thakur has a way of adding layers to her characterizations, she added that Thakur was perfect for the role.
In response to Mrunal signing up with the cast, Sesh said, “With Dacoit, we have a good action movie combined with a beautiful love story”. From Prerna Sharma to Riddhima Banerjee, all characters enacted by Munjal have come alive into a fresh avatar that is quite obviously a creation of Munjal’s style. Her talent to rise the level of every character she performs is mind-blowing and we are glad to welcome her. Looking at this co star, he continued: “We look forward to our scenes, together.”
This is the first film of Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur together and the makers are hopeful that the audience will get to see a great pair on screen.
Currently shooting is going on in Hyderabad and the rest of the shooting will take place in Maharashtra.
