Ranveer Allahbadia Faces Criticism for Inappropriate Comment on Samay Raina’s Show
Ranveer Allahbadia, the YouTuber behind the BeerBiceps channel, is facing strong criticism for an inappropriate comment he made on Samay Raina’s show, India’s Got Latent. In the latest episode, Ranveer asked an offensive question to a contestant, which upset many people on social media. The show also featured popular creators like Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Mukhija, also known as The Rebel Kid.
The Controversial Comment
Ranveer asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life or join them once to stop it?” This video clip went viral, and many people found the question rude and disrespectful.
Neelesh Misra Speaks Out
Famous storyteller and author Neelesh Misra criticized the comment. He said that content like this can harm young minds because it’s easy for children to see it online. He also blamed both the creators and the platforms for not controlling such content.
Misra added, “Good and decent content is not encouraged in India. Creators are making worse content just to get more views and make money.” He also said that people have started to accept and even enjoy such behavior, which is a bad sign.
Political Reactions and Public Concerns
Congress leader Supriya Shrinate also criticized Ranveer’s comment. She said, “This is not creative; it’s disgusting. We should not accept such behavior as normal.” She was worried because the comment received loud claps from the audience, which shows how bad content is being celebrated.
Many people on social media asked the Information and Broadcasting Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw, to take action. Some said that such content can affect young people negatively. Others criticized how low the standards of humor have become. One person even suggested that actor Amitabh Bachchan should not work with such creators, referring to his recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati with Samay Raina, Tanmay Bhat, Bhuvan Bam, and Kamiya Jani.
No Response from Ranveer Allahbadia
Ranveer Allahbadia has not responded to the backlash yet. This is not the first time India’s Got Latent has been in trouble. Last week, a contestant from Arunachal Pradesh was also in the news for making an offensive comment about dog meat.
