Bigg Boss 18 Finale: Can Rajat Dalal’s fan power triumph over gameplay and win the very important fan power battle?
The last few weeks of the Bigg Boss 18 show are still a few weeks away, but viewers are already guessing who will win this season. There is a lot of debate on the internet about the two actors but popular heartthrob Rajat Dalal might prove to be a trump card that will help him win the title.
The MC Stan Parallel: Fan Power and Victory
Currently standing as one of the favorites to win the Bigg Boss 18, Rajat Dalal is a fitness influencer who has followers on Instagram as many as 3 million. This makes him the most followed contestant in the cyberspace this season. Karan Veer Mehra has 654K followers; Vivian Dsena has 1.6 million, Avinash Mishra has 1.5 million, Chum Darang has 478K, and Eisha Singh has 1.5 million followers. Since Bigg Boss was a show with an element of voting, the contestant with more followers in the house could easily take the trophy home no matter the outcome on the show. This scenario makes me somewhat reminded of Bigg Boss 16 wherein MC Stan who had limited opportunities to be involved in the drama as well as tasks but emerged winner due to massive fan base.
Rajat Dalal: MC Stan Is Still More Passive In Comparison
While MC Stan in the Bigg Boss 16 is more dependent on friends and lovers to survive, Rajat Dalal has been more dynamic in this season. At first, Rajat was regarded as an angry young man, repulsive in his temper, but later, he was able to make the audience laugh with stylish provocative intelligence. But instead of building strong bonds in the house, through ‘samikaran’ a game, he has managed to remain in the race. Though Rajat is not the most deserving of the player to be winning the game being involved in physical fights severally and while he lacks total honesty in his character he is far from the least deserving.

Vivian Dsena was among the favorites almost immediately after the show began. Chiefly though, he could not sustain that role and after the first few weeks mostly faded into the background. Nevertheless, he has his vast army of loyal fans that have helped him to remain active constantly occupying the Top 5 spot. Karan Veer Mehra is now a tough contender, thanks to his scrapes, connections and valuable personality. Avinash Mishra has been another strong contestant he has been performing exceptionally well and showing different colors of his character even though some of them are might be pretended for the show.

This is not the first season that fan power would have influenced the Bigg Boss show. Whenever Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner in the previous season or MC Stan in Bigg Boss 17, audience was left surprised and many wondered if fan base now reigns over strategy.
