AAP leaders reach EC office

elhi Assembly polls are due on February 5 and the counting of votes will be taken on February 8. Last time in the 2020 elections, AAP triumphantly won, occupying 62 of the 70 possible seats, and now the party is planning for the third consecutive term in office.

On Sunday, Arvind Kejriwal, AAP’s chief and the former Chief Minister of Delhi, began an invective attack on Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Kejriwal appealed to Shah to withdraw cases against the slum dwellers and give them shelter, go to the extent of volunteering not to contest the next general polls.

Similarly in tandem with that, the BJP announced the third list of its hopefuls for the 2025 Delhi Assembly polls. One of them is Mohan Singh Bisht, who will emerge as a candidate from the Mustafabad constituency. Bisht, who had in the past complained that Kejriwal did not give him a ticket for his stronghold of Karawal Nagar, saw the BJP rival nominate former AAP man Kapil Mishra for that seat.
