Delhi is prepared to contest for the 2025 assembly elections, which will be held on February 5, and the result on February 8.
Key Highlights of the 2025 Delhi Assembly Election
- All the 70 Assembly constituencies will go to the polls in a single phase.
- The whole NCT of Delhi has 1,55,37,634 electorate of which 12,776 are the service voters and 1,55,24,858 are the general voters.
- There will be 13,033 polling stations, but not more than 1500 voters in each of the stations.
Political Landscape
- Aam Aadmi Party AAP, led by Arvind Kejriwal target to form government again in next delhi assembly after winning in 2015 with 67 and 2020 with 62 seats.
- The incumbent BJP has moved to power after its rule at the center since 1990, though it remained a part of the coalition government. The BJp has performed ine =2015 it won 3 seats they enhanced themselves to 8 seats in 2020.
- The Congress Party is part of the GB specially in the urban areas and is seeking representation after it got zero seats in the last two polls.
Voting Information
Therefore, the voting will be conducted on February 5 from 7 in the morning to 5 PM. Any voter who wants to vote has to produce the Voter ID card or any other identity proof at the polling booth.

- Using Personal Details
Visit the official website: electoralsearch.eci.gov.in.
Choose your state and Language.
Type your first and last name, year of birth, gender and all the other obligatory information.
Type in the captcha code and press on ‘Search’.
Your name/polling booth details will be displayed next. - Using Your Mobile Number
Go to the official website: electoralsearch.eci.gov.in.
Choose your state and language.
Select the link named ‘Mobile Number’ on the homepage and fill in the OTP along with the registered mobile number and captcha code.
Enter the OTP received through an SMS on the phone and Click on ‘Send OTP’.
However, after you click ‘Search’, your polling booth and voter details will be shown on your screen. - Using Your EPIC Number
But even that moment, open the website: electoralsearch.eci.gov.in.
Choose your state and language.
Write your EPIC number (Unique 10 digit number on your Voter ID card) and the captcha code.
Click on ‘Search’. Your polling booth details will come up on the system screen.
Important Note
Make sure your details are well recorded and up to date before you go to cast your votes. If there are such discrepancies, one should call the Election Commission’s hotline or go to the nearest election committee.
