Narendra Modi News Live Updates: Addressing a virtual rally on Friday evening, Modi said that earlier in the day he had virtually laid the foundation stone of Delhi University’s Veer Savarkar College. He arrived on a presentation of new constructed buildings for occupied and built-up JJ clusters under In-Situ Slum Rehabilitation Project located at Swabhiman Apartment Ashok Vihar. After this, PM Modi also presided over the inauguration of several development projects including various officials and executives.
The projects inaugurated by PM Modi include:
- Most of 1,675 new-built flats for the JJ cluster dwellers have been completed and keys were distributed to the eligible residents of Swabhiman Apartments in Ashok Vihar.
- Nauroji Nagar WTC and Sarojini Nagar GPRA Type-II Quarters.
- CBSE’s Integrated office complex Dwarka.
In the same programme, the Prime Minister inaugurated more than ₹600 crore worth of projects of Delhi University laying the foundation stones of three projects. These include the Eastern Campus at Surajmal Vihar in East Delhi, the Western Campus at Dwarka Both institutions as well as the Veer Savarkar College of Roshanpura, Najafgarh are in the pipeline and will comprise of modern learning facilities.
