Modi to inaugurate some crucial projects in Maharashtra on January 15
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is planning to accord a visit to Maharashtra on January 15, where he will be attending creations, such as the commissioning of the three advanced naval combatants and the inauguration of the ISKCON temple in Navi Mumbai.
Procurement of Over the Horizon Naval Platforms
At approximately 10:30 AM On Wednesday around 30 AM, PM Modi will launch three modern naval warship – INS Surat, INS Nilgiri and INS Vaghsheer – at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai formally. These ceremonies are a huge jump in increasing India’s defense mechanism.
- INS Surat: This is the P15B’s last instance and is the largest as well as the most sophisticated destroyer ship in the world. This system has 75 percent indigenous content and houses modern weapon sensor systems as well as network centric capabilities.
- INS Nilgiri: Therefore, beginning with the P17A Stealth Frigate Project, INS Nilgiri signifies Indian naval design capability. It is said to come with modern stealth capabilities and increased platform survivability.
- INS Vaghsheer: INS Vaghsheer is the sixth submarine in the P75 Scorpene Project a class of submarines to be built in India. This is a second-line submarine constructed in partnership with France’s Naval Group, a sign of growing Indian prowess in submaranship.
ISKCON Temple New Temple in New Mumbai
Later in the day, around 3:At 30 PM, PM Modi will inaugurate the Sri Sri Radha Madanmohanji Temple by ISKCON, at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. The temple complex occupies nine acres and comprises the temple of multiple deities for multiple gods and goddesses, Vedic education center for imparting education regarding Vedic culture, museum – planned for the construction tentatively, Auditorium – planned for the construction tentatively, Healing center for physically and mentally ill people. This is social cause is all about advocating peace, communal and religious tolerance with lessons from the Vedas.
