    The Mahakumbh Mela will end on 26thFebruary. Significant bathing rituals, including ‘Shahi Snans,’ are scheduled for the following dates:

  • January 29 (Mauni Amavasya)
  • February 3 (Basant Panchami)

Precautionary Measures for the Event

  1. Statement on Cultural Significance
    Capt congratulated the Chief Minister for selecting Mahakumbh 2025 as a spiritual and cultural event focusing on spiritualism, culture, and tradition of the state and inviting global population to take stock of Indian tradition.
  2. Yagy for Preservation of River Ganga
    On the occasion of Mahakumbh, one day prior to the fair, a grand ‘yagya’ was performed at Sangam. More than 200 volunteers and thousands of people participated in this event and took oath to safeguard the purity and the currents of Ganga.
  3. Enhanced Safety Measures
    Water policemen and other calamity groups, entertain contingency services in order to protect the believers in the course of the rituals.
  4. Implementing in Traffic Management and QR Code Technology

    To cater the devotees, Three hospitals have been established for the devotees coming on the National Highway 19 in Bhadohi District. All these facilities will be fully operational by January 14.
