Delhi Assembly Elections 2025: Candidate Assets as of January 16
The total number of candidates as per the nominations filed by January 16, 2025, has reached 841 candidates in competition for the 70 assembly seats, Delhi’s Chief Electoral Officer stated.
Some of the candidates who tendered nominations are these: Some leaders from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and other political parties. AAP bigwigs – former ministers Manish Sisodia, Gopal Rai, and Saurabh Bharadwaj are contesting from Jangpura, Babarpur and Greater Kailash respectively. Another stalwart who declared his candidature is Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit who also filed nomination from New Delhi constituency by demanding to take on AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal.
Here’s a look at the key candidates and their declared assets for the upcoming Delhi Assembly Elections 2025:
Atishi – Rs 76.93 Lakh
Atishi, who filed her nomination for the Kalkaji Assembly seat on January 14, has assets of Rs 76.93 lakh according to her affidavit. This is an addition of Rs 17 lakh to her 2020 affidavit in which she declared an asset of Rs 59,79,000.
Alka Lamba – Rs 3.41 Crore
AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal who is all set and going to poll for Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 from New Delhi started filing his nomination papers on January 15. Kejriwal in his affidavit filed today declared his assets value to be Rs 1.73 crore for himself and for his wife Sunita Kejriwal it was Rs 2.5 crore. In contrast to the Kejriwal’s ratio in 2020, his assets have shrunk by Rs 14 lakh and reached Rs 1,87,87,111, while his wife’s assets have grown 93,19,111 as compared to the 2020 ratio of Rs 1,57,57,222.
As of 2025, Kejriwal possesses movable assets of Rs 3,46,000 and immovable assets worth Rs 1,70,00,000. His wife claimed Rs 1 crore of movable property and Rs 1‧5 crore of immovable property.
Parvesh Verma – Rs 90.08 Crore
BJP’s candidate for New Delhi seat, Parvesh Verma filed his nomination on January 15 with an asset of worth Rs 90.08 crore. This is a clear enhancement from his 2019 Lok Sabha affidavit when his total assets were estimated to be Rs 9.65 crore, an augmentation of Rs 80.43 crore.
Verma’s wife’s total wealth in 2025 is Rs 24.44 crore; it has gone up by Rs 19.3 crore from her wealth of Rs 5.14 crore in 2019. But then in total Verma had current assets of Rs 122.57 crore while he had current liabilities to Rs 62.82 crore.
Satyendar Jain – Rs 4.42 crore
AAP’s Shakur Basti candidate Satyendra Jatain who is contesting the Lok sabha election for the fourth time has stated his total assets worth Rs 4,42 lakh. This is up by a mere Rs 4 lakh from his 2020 net worth of Rs 4.38 crore. There is increase of Rs 4 lakh movable assets, with present value of Rs 30,67,000 while the immovable assets are as before Rs 4,12,00,000.
Her spouse Poonam Jain has a self assessed net worth of Rs 3.24 crore which is Rs 25 lac more than the figure of Rs 2.99 crore reported in 2020.
Ramesh Bidhuri – Rs 14.87 Crore
According to the affidavit filed January 15, BJP candidate from Kalkaji constituency Ramesh Bidhuri declared total assets of Rs 14.87 crore. He has Rs 2.57 crore as in movable property and Rs 12.30 crore as immovable property. She has asset worth Rs 5.06 crore according to the affidavit filed by husband.
In his affidavit for the 2019 Assembly elections, Bidhuri had declared a total assets of Rs 13.14 crore which grew by Rs 1.73 crore.
Manish Sisodia – Rs 57.43 lakh
Manish Sisodia, who is contesting the election from Jangpura, stated his assets to be worth Rs 57,43,280 in an affidavit filed on January 16. His wife Seema Sisodia listed her total assets at Rs 82.87 lakh.
Movable assets owned by Sisodia have increased to Rs 34,43,000 as of now from Rs 4,74,000 in 2020. His wife was also able to augment movable assets from Rs 2.66 lakh to Rs 12.87 lakh during the same period.
Saurabh Bharadwaj – Rs 1.11 crore
Saurabh Bharadwaj, an AAP candidate of Greater Kailash, declared his total assets at Rs 1, 11, 32, 331 in the affidavit filed on 16 January. His wife total declared amount is Rs 36.85 lakh. Movable assets of the candidate consist of Rs 26.03 lakh while immovable are Rs 85 lakhs.
Since the 2020 elections, his net worth has risen from Rs 97.55 lakh to Rs 13.4 lakh.
Sandeep Dikshit – Rs 6.18 crore
New Delhi Congress candidate Sandeep Dikshit announced his declared total assets as Rs 6.18 crore. Mona Dikshit, his wife disclosed an increase in her total assets from previous Rs 1.35 crore in 2020 to Rs 4.94 crore, this year.
Movable and immovable assets of Dikshit are Rs 10.4 million and Rs 51.4 million respectively.
Devender Yadav – Rs 44.8 crore
Candidate from Badli constituency of Punjab Lok Congress Devender Yadav declared Rs 44.80 crore as his total assets on January 16. Uday’s movable and immovable assets are and Rs 3.38 crore and Rs 41.42 crore respectively that were certainly higher than those of his net worth of Rs 39.65 crore in the current 2020 fiscal.
Yadav’s wife, who affixed her affidavit today, has claimed that she has a net worth of Rs 2,05,55,609/-, all in movable property. He also has payables of Rs 1.81 crore.
Gopal Rai – Rs 1.27 Crore
Out of these, Gopal Rai, the AAP candidate for Badarpur constituency, declared his assests of 1, 27, 00,000 in the affidavit filed on January 16. His wife has claimed a net worth of Rs 14,58,000. He declared Rs 810860 as his net worth in the 2020 elections, which shows an appreciation of Rs 454,000.
Arvinder Singh Lovely – Rs 2.58 crore
BJP candidate Arvinder Singh Lovely, who contested from Gandhi Nagar promised an asset worth Rs 2.58 crore , while his wife declared asset worth Rs 9.06 crore. Lovely’s net worth also rose by Rs 1.77 crore from Rs 81.24 lakh in 2020, and his wife’s by Rs 4.48 crore.
Raaj Kumar Anand – Rs 17.66 crore
Patel Nagar candidate Raaj Kumar Anand disclosed his worth at Rs 17.66 crores, his wife’s worth at Rs 60.61 crores. Anand’s assets list comprises of Rs 1.57 crore from the Raaj Kumar and Sons (HUF). His net worth for 2020 was Rs 1376 million which inclined by Rs 390 million. Anand also has loan of Rs 9.87 crore and his wife can take liabilities up to Rs 25.19 crore.
Kailash Gahlot – Rs 34.22 crores
BJP candidate Kailash Gahlot, who filed his nomination from Bijwasan, disclosed that he has a total wealth of Rs 34.22 crore of which his wife owns Rs 21.07 crore of movable asset. Gahlot has claimed Rs 11.18 crore as movable assets and Rs 23.04 crore as immovable assets. He also brought in operational net worth of Rs 37.45 crore during the same period up from Rs 33.16 crore in 2020.
Manjinder Singh Sirsa – Rs 185.92 Crore
BJP candidate Manjinder Singh Sirsa, from Rajouri Garden constituency, said he had declared his total assets to be Rs 185.92 crore, of which he declared Rs 59.12 crore worth of movable assets and Rs 126.80 crore worth of immovable assets. His wife assets worth Rs 62.92 crore.
Avadh Ojha – Rs 6.30 Crore
AAP’s Avadh Ojha, contesting from Patparganj, declared his total assets at Rs 6.30 crore while his wife’s total assets are Rs 2.22 crore. Ojha has lendings as we can term it of Rs 80 lakh and his wife has the lendings of Rs 21.7 lakh.
Mohan Singh Bisht – Rs 7.82 crore
At number 24 Mustafabad, BJP candidate Mohan Singh Bisht reported Rs 7,82,00,000 as his total assets including movable assets of Rs 5, 59,930 and immovable assets Rs 7,27,00,000. , his expected net worth in 2020, according to the sources his net worth is Rs 2.85 crore.
Mohd. Tahir Hussain – Rs 9.27 Crore
AIMIM candidate Mohd. Tahir Hussain, who is contesting from Mustafabad, stated that he possess total worth of 9.27 Cr with 42.55 lac in the movable assets & 8.85 Cr in immovable assets. His total wife’s assets are measured at Rs 9.44 crore. The combined portfolio of Hussain has shrunk to Rs 10.77 crore down from Rs 17.49 crore in 2017.
