Breaking News Live: A ‘jatha’ comprising 101 farmers will start foot march towards Delhi at 12-noon today again from the Shambhu border point. The march proposed is meant to force the Centre to respond to multiple issues such as ensuring legal right to MSP.
Farmer Protest Live: What Has Happened So Far?
Farmers under the umbrella of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) and Kisan Moto Morcha (KMM) have been demanding a right to MSP, besides many other changes. Now they are also demanding that the Centre begin negotiations to sort out their concerns. Farmer leader Jagjit Singh Dallewal is on hunger strike at the Khanauri border from the past 19 days till Saturday. He has been recommended to be hospitalized by doctors since the fast has adverse effects on his body.
