Delhi is now preparing for a BJP government in the state for a second term, which would come nearly three decades. The party under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming up with a new plan to contest the AAP led by Arvind Kejriwal in the 2025 Delhi Assembly elections.

The 2025 Delhi Assembly elections are going to be held in a single phase on February 5 2025 for which results will be declared on February 8 2025.

- Filing of nominations: January 17, 2025
- Scrutiny of nominations: January 18, 2025
- Last date for withdrawal: January 20, 2025
The current Assembly completes its term on February 23, 2025, which effectively means the second AAP government in Delhi comes to an end.
